1. My WiFi/internet seems weak/slow (e.g. weak signal in certain areas of the home/slow internet speeds/buffering during streaming). Is there anything I can do to improve my CelcomDigi Fibre WiFi performance?
Here are some tips to boost your internet performance:
Place the WiFi router at a central location in your home with plenty of space around it. Avoid areas which have other electronic devices, such as microwaves and cordless phones as they can interfere with the Wi-Fi signal.
Place your devices nearer to your router.
Connect to the right WiFi frequency based on usage and distance to your router:
5GHz WiFi provides faster internet speeds but has a smaller coverage distance from the router.
2.4GHz connection provides slightly slower internet speeds but has a wider coverage distance from the router.
If you are in a room in your home that is far from the router, connecting to the 2.4GHz frequency may yield a better internet connection. However, if there are locations within your home where you are unable to get a WiFi signal, you may need to use a mesh to extend the WiFi signal to cover all areas of your home. You can purchase a mesh from any IT store near you.

2. Is your WiFi connection slow while connected to the mesh unit? Try these steps:
Step 1: Check the connection speed from the main router to confirm that the internet speed is as per the subscribed plan.
How to do this:
Connect your laptop to the router using a LAN/Ethernet cable, then open a web browser and visit a trusted speed test website such as Speedtest by Ookla and begin the test.
If the results of the speed test show that the connection speed is as per your subscribed plan, then proceed to Step 2. Otherwise, contact us for assistance here.
Step 2: Turn off both the router and modem and mesh unit(s). Wait a full minute, then switch on the modem. Wait another full minute, then switch on the router. Finally, switch on the mesh unit(s) after the router.
Step 3: Disconnect and reconnect to your WiFi on your PC/laptop/devices.
To improve your mesh connection, you could also try the following:
Place the mesh unit on a hard and flat surface such as on a table or countertop, not on the ground.
Place the mesh unit in the open, without anything above it.
3. I can’t seem to get a WiFi signal from my mesh from certain locations within my home. What should I do?
You could try moving the mesh unit to a location that is between the main router and the area with no WiFi signal to extend the WiFi. Depending on the size of your home, you may need more mesh units to cover the whole space.
