Why is my line barred?

Your line could be barred because you have overdue bills or have exceeded your credit limit.

1. Overdue Bills

Overdue bills are bills that haven’t been paid past their due date.

The issuance of your bill statement depends on when you first activate your postpaid line. You will be assigned a bill cycle date closest to your Postpaid line activation. You can check your bill due date via the Celcom Life or MyDigi app.

2. Exceed Credit Limit

All postpaid plans come with a credit limit. Your usage and purchases made via the Celcom Life or MyDigi app will be charged to your postpaid bill and count towards your credit limit. Once you have used up 100% of your credit limit, your line will be immediately barred, regardless of your bill cycle.

How to Avoid Getting Barred

1. Check and pay your bill before the due date.

2. Prior to barring, you will receive  a few SMS reminders from CelcomDigi to pay your bills. If you haven't paid your bills by then, please do so immediately to avoid service interruptions. Find out your credit limit via the Celcom Life or MyDigi app. Keep track of your purchases to avoid reaching your credit limit unexpectedly. Celcom Life App MyDigi 4. Keep an eye out for notifications about your credit limit usage. You will receive an SMS when you reach 70% and 90% (Celcom) and 80% (Digi) of your credit limit. To avoid barring, pay your bill as soon as you receive these notifications. Another SMS will be sent once you have reached 100% of your credit limit.
