1. What is the “Uninterrupted WiFi with Free 4G Dongle” offer?
When you sign up for One Ultra or One Pro with 1 new supplementary line (excluding PrivateSIM) during the campaign period, you will receive a free 4G dongle (while stocks last).
If your fibre connection goes down, your WiFi will automatically switch to the dongle, keeping you connected with no interruption.
2. Does the dongle come with a SIM card?
No, the dongle does not include a SIM card. You will need to insert your own.
For example, you can use one of the supplementary lines you signed up for with your One plan.
3. Can I use any SIM card with the dongle?
Yes, the dongle works with any SIM card.
For the best performance and coverage, we recommend using a CelcomDigi SIM.
4. Will I be charged for the data used through the SIM?
Yes. The data will be deducted from the SIM’s mobile plan. Please make sure the SIM has an active plan with sufficient data.
5. Will the dongle work with all fibre routers?
No, the dongle is only compatible with the following router models:
Skyworth RN685
TP-Link EX510
To use it, plug the dongle into the USB port on one of these supported routers.
6. How do I set up the dongle?
Setup is easy:
Insert your SIM card into the dongle.
Plug the dongle into the USB port of your compatible router.
No activation is needed. It will automatically activate when your fibre connection is down.
7. How do I know if the dongle is working?
A blue LED light on the dongle means it’s powered on and working correctly.
8. What happens if I unplug the dongle or remove the SIM card?
The backup internet connection will stop working.
9. Can I use the dongle elsewhere, like with a laptop?
Yes, the dongle can be used anywhere with USB power, including laptops. However, to get Uninterrupted WiFi, it’s best to keep it connected to your fibre router.
10. Is the dongle covered by warranty?
The dongle does not come with a warranty.
If it’s found to be faulty during testing in-store, we’ll replace it on the spot.
After you leave the store, we won’t be able to provide replacements for damage, loss, or future issues.
11. Can I get a replacement if I lose or damage the dongle later?
No. Replacements are only offered if the dongle is faulty at the time of in-store testing. Any lost or damaged dongles are not eligible for free replacement.
